- Sunglasses: One of my favorite belongings is my sunglasses because they remind me of how much I love being outside in the sun. They represent my love for the beach, warm weather, and spending time outdoors.
- Conference Championship Ring: This ring resembles a great accomplishment that my lacrosse team and I made last year, winning our conference, but it also means so much more to me. Engraved is my last name and number, "Smurro 32". My dad played many sports in High School and college, and he has always been my biggest inspiration in athletics and life in general. He also wore the number 32 his entire life through sports, so I am incredibly grateful to carry on his legacy. It also shows how hard I have worked my whole life; the countless hours of work ethic over the years are shown in this ring.
- Handmade sewn turtle: Another important belonging to me is a handmade sewn turtle, because it represents my deep love for animals and wildlife. Knowing that the money I spent to buy this turtle goes to a charity to help save sea turtles and clean our oceans makes it especially meaningful, since protecting animals and the environment is something I care very deeply about.
- Pink Flower hair clip: Another special belonging of mine is a pink flower hair clip because pink is my favorite color, and the hibiscus flower is my absolute favorite. It reminds me of my love for nature and flowers, especially how they add beauty, color, and little glimpses of happiness to everyday life.
- AirPods: Another important item to me is my AirPods because listening to music always helps calm me down when i'm stressed and instantly lifts my mood. I also love going on runs while listening to music playing because it helps me clear my mind and stay motivated. Music also helps me to feel more connected to myself and my surroundings.
- Cat pen: My mom got me this cute calico cat pen, and it represents my cat at home, Patches, who I picked out myself. When I was little, I always wanted a pet and had to prove to my parents that I was responsible enough to care for one, so they finally let me get her after my grandpa found a litter of wild kittens in his backyard and asked if I wanted one. Patches came right up to me and was purring like the sweetest kitten ever, and now she's a loved part of my family, which is why this pen means so much to me.
